Let's see your packing list. DH and I are embarqing on an 18 hour car trip for a week in Florida. DD has never been anywhere for more than an overnight and I am a little worried about forgeting things. I know we can always hit the stores down there but it would be easier and cheaper to take it along. TIA

Not so much of a packing suggestion, but more for in-car: you may want to slip a waterproof change pad (or something similar) under her, if she will be in the car seat for extended periods. IDK, something about the sitting for so long always seemed to cause DS's diapers to leak way before they ever would at home, and then your car seat will be wet too (which, as you can imagine, will only get the new change of clothes wet).

Have a great trip!

I'll admit it seems a bit crazy, but I'm a list maker and didn't want to forget anything. It also looks like a lot more than it 'packs up to be'. We'll be using the resort crib but will also pack her own fitted sheet. We've also requested a microwave because I'll make her hot cereal in the room in the morning and for bottles. We're staying eight nights so might tone down the clothes list and resort to doing laundry while we're there. She doesn't like us to feed her so her clothes get pretty messy.

Table Toppers (presterlized stickey mats for tables). A must!

A front carrier. There are alot of places that baby can go that a stroller can't. And baby can ride rides and sit in shows in front, but a backpack would have to be taken off.

A stroller rain cover.
