hi..just wondered if anyone else had traveled with 6 month old..we are booked on 2-24 wonder....any suggestions??
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

When we cruised on the Magic last August my baby was six months old. (Will be 18 months old this August on the 14 day cruise!!) No problems and nothing to worry about. Do you have any specific questions???

I would recommend a front baby carrier or sling. It makes it so much easier to go from place to place. My daughter was 8 months old.....and I was able to easily bring her to shows, bingo.....even if she was sleeping or falling asleep. We also went last year when she was 20 months.....no sling...the stroller was very annoying to manuever around the ship. Using the sling I was able to bypass waits at the elevator and go up the stairs because I didn't have the stroller to push. I would only use the stroller when absolutely necessary. Strollers are also not allowed in the theater.

PS....I suggest still bringing the stroller even if you have a front carrier/sling...the were times that it did come in handy...airport, ports.

Feel free to ask me any questions :O) :flower:

My Daughter was 10 months when we sailed, so a little older, but I still have some advice!

1. Remember to let Disney or your TA (if you booked with one) that you will need a pack-n-play and a diaper geanie. It was great to have that pack-n-play ready to go on the first day when my wee one crashed with exaustion!

2. If your baby is in a carseat carrier, you might want to use that at dinner time if baby gets tired. A stroller would work as well, if the seats fall back, but some of the dinner areas canget pretty crowded, so I don't know how that would work.

3. Bring all the diapers, formula, and baby food that you think you will need. They have that stuff on board, but you will pay a premium for them, and they may not be your favorite brand.

4. The waitstaff volunteered to mush up food for our little one if we needed them to. If your baby likes Bananas and that sort of thing, you could probably leave the jars at home and go that route.

5. Have a great time and make use of the nursery at least once for some "alone" time with your husband!
