Traveling Turkeys Part 2 11/22/08

The next thing they will be asking for is to not eat all of the chocolate soufflé . . . The nerve of some people.

Does anybody know if you can still drop off something at guest services to have the characters sign? If so, any suggestions for what kind of marker/pen to have a heavy piece of cardsock signed?

Ken, as far as I know they still do it. they did last year when we were on. I have used Sharpie markers in the past for my photo mat signatures and it came out great.

Judy, where are you? You must be busy watching the game. Come on I'm watching and have the laptop right on my lap, no pun intended.:rotfl2:

and i am surprised Trey was sitting outside?

Ken: they still do the pillowcases..Lisa even had one specially made for this cruise when she ordered the new FE.

Chuck:cool1:

I cant remember, do you have to leave instructions as to which character signs, or is it kind of a hit and miss?

I remember the sheet I filled out asked which characters we wanted, though there was no promise you'd get what you asked. I'm bringing pillowcases again that I had embroidered. If they make it before the cruise. :scared:

BTW - went to the Bucs game today. :cheer2: Good game, great weather.

Oh good Lord Teresa! I'm gonna have a heart attack watching these Stiller games!!! How about Troy? He was a maniac tonight. :scared1: And Ben played it safe and it payed off. And my beloved Willie Parker - ya gotta love him! :thumbsup2 It snowed and snowed here, and was very cold and windy. Heinz Field is right at The Point; which is where the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers come together to form the Ohio. Anyway, it gets really windy and cold and they looked like they were freezing. Huh, tell em Troy has a TD then take it away? Unfair.

Nanaheads - We'll make sure they restock the liquor cabinet before you board. I just can't guarantee there will be any creme brulee':lmao: We'll also make sure we clean up our lobster shells from T-day dinner!:rotfl2:

Judy

Ken - I bought pre cut mats and put stickers of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto on them. I'm also bringing a Sharpie. I've never done this before so I have no idea what will happen!

I was disappointed for Troy, he was so excited when he picked it up and ran with it, but you know what A WIN IS A WIN!!!

Love the video SuzyMouse!!! Can't wait to hear it in person again!:thumbsup2

Our Christmas tree is up and totally decorated. One less thing I have to worry about when we get back. This week is going to be a very busy week, between work, orthodonist appt. for DD, and hair and nail appts. for me and DD. But I just keep telling myself at the end of all the appts. will be VACATION!!!!!!

Ok, I was fine with the clean up our feathers, stuffing and giblets stuff. But leave some tequila? Next thing you guys will be telling us to leave some rum behind too! ;)

Good Evening All:

Hi Chuck. I truly wish you guys a great trip, beautiful weather and the best vacation ever. Just do leave some Guinness for my DH. You know how he like his BEER.

Hunter is now 5'4" and is about the look me in the eyes. Its freaky to have a 12 year old.

Have a great time and I will try to keep the restless Nana's in check. Ya right.

Long live the

Wendy you forgot Guinness. Geeze, I know he's on your poo list right now. he he

The "Just think, this time next week we will be..." games are well underway at our house. Today we imagined what a great day we had at CC!:beach:

Hope you all have a great week and we are looking forward to our Friday flight and night at the Hyatt.

What's going on here? It's like attack of the Nanaheads. :lmao:

I know one - pineapple doesn't work in jello! I know this because it says not to use pineapple on the Jello box! :lmao: Did you know there is a Jello museum in New York? It's not too far from Darian Lake.

Susan - I've been getting scowls all day! My OCD is in overdrive and I must admit I have been kinda hard to live with lately! I am trying to calm myself down but I'm very excited!

I made wings and fries for dinner. I just put everything in the fridge and DH and DS just went out to get food. I was told dinner was "gross". This happens frequently so my feelings are over being hurt! I'm having Alpha Bits for dinner!:thumbsup2

Tomorrow is DH birthday and we'll take him out for dinner so I'll have one decent meal this weekend. I have to get up early and go to Dairy Queen for his cake and the mall for the rest of his presents.
I'm off to get my cereal - have a good evening everyone!
Judy

Shay - no mention of making little gingerbread houses, eh? I may have to buy a kit and make one when I get home.
OMG, Darien Lake, I used to go there every summer. I loved the Viper. Never been to the Jell-O museum though. I think it's in Leroy, isn't it?

Good morning! I didn't get much farther last night with the cruise packing or the Christmas tree. I just have to pack Brian and myself. That shouldn't be as hard as packing the kids.

It's supposed to be pretty nice here today--in the mid to upper 50's. It was freezing here yesterday! We're getting ready for church and then DD has volleyball practice this afternoon. I'm going to try to talk my family in to sneaking up to Lawrence to get a few things before DD's volleyball practice. Wish me luck. I may be going by myself, but that's okay too.;)

I'm to the point where I don't get a full nights sleep. I've been waking up around 4:00 a.m. for the last four mornings. I think I'm thinking about what all I need to do to get ready for the trip or something. When I wake up, I start thinking about everything and then I just toss and turn. Hopefully next week by this time that will have all passed. It's wearing me out!

Hope everyone has a good day. The realization that this trip is pretty much here has hit my family. When my kids come in and tell me how many more days until the trip, you know it's just around the corner!

Susan
I was just talking to my mom today and she mentioned that she woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep this morning. I woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep. How strange.

well they have been following us on the boat for the past few years, and some of them have been on the boat with us like 2005.

Chuck:cool1:

I CANNOT SLEEP!
I keep reviewing "to do" lists in my head, thinking about where we'll be in 4 days, 5 days, 6 days, 7 days, etc, etc.

Sandy - We use to go to Darian Lake too! And the Jello museum is in Leroy. No one would ever go with me so I've never been either. It's on my list of places to see before I die. I think it's just below the Alamo and Little Big Horn. I want to see their collection of Jello molds.

Suzanne - Loved the horn. I played them over and over last night until DS came out of his room and asked me to stop!

Everyone going to MVMCP that will be trying to meet on the bridge - I've decided since it will be chilly I'll be wearing my red, gray and white Mickey Fair Isle Christmas sweater.:santa:

Have a great day everyone.
Make good choices.
Be kind.

GOOD MORNING STACIE!!! See you Friday (on the bridge to Tomorrowland).:grouphug: :wave2:  :donald: :love2:
