The last cruise was a double dip and the weather was dramatically different. The first visit was very chilly- too cold to enjoy the water. We had scheduled the ray encounter and couldn't really enjoy it because the wind chill was so cold off the water. We had a good time sunning ourselves on the beach. It was really windy. When we came back at the end of the week, it was a nice day at the beach. Water was still cool but you could go in it without turning blue. We went snorkeling and had a great day. We were lucky that we had a second chance at Castaway Cay. The rest of the cruise goes a lot further south so it should be nice and tropical for most of the cruise!

Hi all! We will be onboard the Magic 11/20 as well. We have taken 6 family cruises prior to this one (hubby has been on the Wonder a few times for work related events, lucky guy), all on the Magic. The first was a 3nt back in October of 1998, but everything else after that has been a 7nt.

At the time we sail, our boys will be 13 and 7, and our daughter will be 3. The last time we sailed I was 6 weeks pregnant with her, so this is her first real cruise. My mom and her husband are joining us, as they did last time.

I'm looking forward to relaxing. We know what we're doing in St. Maarten already, but I think we may stay onboard in St. Thomas and enjoy the empty ship. I'm excited about all the enhancements at Castaway Cay. Has anyone looked into whether the cabanas are able to be booked yet for our sailing date? I think that's something we might want to splurge on this trip, although it will be hard to exclude one member of our party...

Looking forward to counting down with everyone!

Just booked our air fare!! So pretty much set on everything. We are going to stay at the Wilderness Cabins after the cruise for 2 nights!! I can't wait, I heard it is really fun at holiday time!! Anyone staying at WDW after or before the cruise?
Can't wait to go on this cruise!! I guess you can't tell that I can't wait !!LOL
Have not decided on where we are staying the night before the cruise? But I am sure it will all work out.

DisneyFans- were staying at the mco hyatt before the cruise and we got 1 night at AK before we come back home. I really wanted DD to go to dtd to see Santa.

Love ( BW) Boardwalk!! I love walking around the BW shop and dine area and watching the old broadville type workers~So fun there.

I'm flying in on Friday morning and staying with Melody Friday night and then it is off to the Port.

We are going to Animal Kingdom Lodge for 5 days after the cruise..

All of my cruises have been all longer ones on the Magic as well...I've only been on the Wonder once for a 4 day.
We were planning to do the same on this sailing too, just heading to Great Bay beach on St. Maarten, and maybe staying on the ship in St Thomas. Totally a relaxing cruise for us too! The enhancements on CC are really cool, and I haven't even seen the newest ones yet (we have only been to Pelican Plunge), so I can't wait either!!

I just booked yesterday and Main dine was Ok to get, I think hopefully if you want to change you can. Unless something changed between yesterday and now.

That is good to know! I really prefer late dining, but with it being just me with my younger kids I will have to think about what will work out best for us some more......

Yay for airfare! It's great being locked in! At least for me it is, no turning back for us either. I keep going back and forth on staying at WDW the night before the cruise, or at Country Inn and suites out at the port. We won't be arriving until 4:30 pm (all day flight clear from Idaho) so part of me wants to take it easy and the other part wants to go to DTD and enjoy it there to get us all excited!

Five weeks from now we'll be enjoying Brunch at Palo's, I can't wait. I hope our cruise weather is as nice as Florida's weather has been lately.

I think meeting at 3:00 on embarkation day is a great idea.

Looks like we will be staying near the port. Hubbys idea. Residence Inn Marriott. So if good weather we will most likely head to Port and hang out at the beach for Friday the 19th but if not good weather we will maybe do Downtown Disney for the part of the day.

I think I know what I am doing for FE exchange gift. I will be so happy to have that done hopefully soon. But I can not tell what it is, hee hee must keep it a surprise.
