This might sound like a silly question, but I just want to make sure before I make a decision on this.

We're staying at POR in June, and I was somehow able to get a reservation for Chef Mickey's on a Monday morning. I'm assuming that there is a way to get from POR to the Contemporary Resort, right? I know that the Contemporary uses a tram, so I just wanted to make sure.

Thanks!

You'll take the bus to MK and then walk or take the monorail to the Contemporary (walking will be faster.) Allow about 75 minutes.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by this.

You could also take a cab. Walk out of the front of POR and ask for a cab. You could also go ahead of time and arrange for a cab, let them know how many car seats you may need. It will cost you about $20 and you will only need about 20 minutes to get there.

When we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's we did the bus to MK and then walked. It's an easy walk and by the time you go from the bus stop all the way up to the monorail platform, you could probably be at the Contemporary. We do take the monorail back to MK after eating.

If it's a really early breakfast as in prior to park opening, just make sure you give yourself plenty of time because the bus will not come as often when they are doing those very early morning runs.

I'm in the "hop a cab" camp. It will save an hour of travel time, which is priceless in the morning, as well as the anxiety that I might feel while waiting for the bus getting nervous about missing my breakfast.

Funny question, but how were you able to get your reservation? I still can't get one for CM. I think it would be easier getting a meeting with the Pope!!
