Traveling Disers are lost and adrift somewhere?

Castlegazer, how ever did you get those photos to keep changing? That is awesome!

I'm thrilled to go on a safari! Are we going to stop and stay at one of those cool tent resorts? I just ask for a room high enough off the ground in case lions come wandering in at night.

Very nice CastleGazer

I Found a place to base our safari

Great job Ed! This my kind of Safari! I'll be sippin' 'ritas by the pool if you guys need me for anything.

Veeeerry nice Ed. As usual. Can't wait to do some leaf-peeping.

:hyper: Oh NICE!!!!!

I was actually listening to public radio this morning and WBUR in Boston has yearly citizens of the world tours and this next one will be in Botswana. They were promoting it saying you will be staying in bungalos with one completely open wall so you can listening to the Hippos snorting in the night as your bungalos overlook the river/watering hole. I was totally like this as I was listening :earseek: All that popped to mind was that travel web site commercial on TV where they are looking at hotels and she envisions the room with the mosquito netting and after they turn on the light they realize they are being swarmed by bugs!!!! What happens if a creature a little larger than a bug decides to join you in bed through that open wall??????

Anyways, I like this way - its a little less rough. I must be getting old and non-adventurous now

My feelings exactly! That expedia.com commercial gets to me every time. I definitely don't want any sort of creepy bugs or crawly things in my room or any wild animals that growl and have big teeth.

Good morning Ed (five days later - sorry:o ), and did I hear something about you?????

I think it is Ed's
BIRTHDAY!!!!!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

By the way, I feel great! Although what I was traveling for was a two shot - it was to have some real estate meetings but to also oversee as a home office finance rep an inventory for my company - that means I was up all night for two nights and walking concrete floors all night long - up in forklifts, and basically eating crap for three straight days.

I am burnt toast right now. Its my last time traveling for anything until I return from maternity leave, though. YIPPEEE!!!!

OK - So I am home now and ready to virtually travel again with you all. Where are we off to now prior to our color tour?

Happy Birthday ED!!!

Where are we going now anyway? I'm sick of being here. I mean, this place is nice & all, but we need to MOVE ON!!! ;)

How 'bout New Zealand? The Amazing Race people were there a couple of weeks ago & I'd like to try something they did. Um, I can't remember what it was called..........slushing? Anyway, you go down rapids on a sled type thing. It looks really cool & I wanna do it! :hyper:

We could sail our way to NZ the Foliage is still about 2 weeks from peaking so if we hang around there for awhile and just fly back to Boston to do a Fall Cruise....works for me
Sailing into Aukland

And Thank you for the Birthday wishes

As a complete aside, that photo is from the ice hotel in Quebec during the Winter Carnival. I have always wanted to go and stay in it - do you guys think that's nuts?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ED!!!!!!!!

I am very happy to share MY birthday with YOU!!!!!!

:bday:

Birthdays? Did I hear birthdays? Hope they were great ones Ed and Cruisin'Kroezes. Did I miss the cake?

New Zealand would be cool! Not only did I love it from Lord of the Rings, as deadheadbelle said, the Amazing Race was just there and it was very cool. (I was glued to the the TV for the finale last night and thrilled with the winners for once! The locations are unbelievable, if folks have never watched it.)

So what do folks in New Zealand have for breakfast?
