Hello everyone! I am brand new to this site, and am very glad that I found it, as it is a wealth of info for me--however, I cannot find any info regarding traveling to Disney by train, other than the special Amtrack line that comes from the northern part of the US (where you pack up your car and load it onto the train--sounds neat). The travel time would be about the same, 11-12 hours, but I have always wanted to take a train trip somewhere. Anyone have any advice?? Were staying at Shades Of Green in October. Thanks all!

PS-this will be my very first time to Disney--I feel like a kid!!

This is our third time from Phila to orlando..Feel free to ask any questions you may have....The Amtrak website has a lot of information also..

We took Amtrak from Philly to Orlando 4 years ago and it was pretty easy. Once in Orlando we hooked up with Coach USA and they took us to our resort. It was a LONG ride but we're glad we did it.
