We flew with TCD last Sept. The flight out to FL was delayed by 23hrs (ouch!) but that was down to a technical fault with the plane, not TCD's fault and personally I'm more than happy to give the engineers all the time in the world to fix the problem than fly on a faulty plane!!!! Flight itself was good, no problems at all but I agree with others on this thread that the screens can be hard to see. We landed at Sanford 20mins early.
Flight back was delayed 2 hours, never found out why. Our group were upgraded to the Sunshine Deck which was fantastic. We have no idea why but we did notice that a few other people were myseteriously upgraded and we recognised some faces from the flight out there so maybe they were trying to compensate for our lost day? I just wish I could have appreciated the Sunshine Deck more, I threw up all the way home (I apologise profusely to anyone who happened to be on that flight with me!)
The only issue I have with TCD was the way they treated us during the big delay. No one was told what was happening, why we were delayed or when we could expect to be flying which got a lot of people very irate, especially those with little kids. However I think this may have been more to do with Air Atlanta than TCD and we were given meal vouchers to use at the airport, put up in a top airport hotel overnight and given breakfast the following day. And with the price, it was worth it!!!!
