travel to Westside DTD

Do Disney buses drop people off at the Westside? I haven't found that answer. The maps look to me like you cannot walk from the Market Place. We will be eating at two restaurants there and wonder how we will get there. Thanks.

According to the Disney Transportation page, there is a bus stop near Cirque. I'm going there tonight from Beach Club. I hope.

Well, I found another thread that indicates the West End stop is only used to shuttle to the Team Disney lot. Looks like I will take a cab.

The west side drop off has not been used in years and it has not changed as of our last trip last month. I would agree that they should have it for now being the PI bus stop is not being used at this time. However it is not a bad walk... and how better to get people to walk past all of the stores and later new stores....

I would enjoy walking from the market place side to the west side, but it looked to me on the map I was looking at like there was a water type area between the two and not a way to walk around it.

we went last summer for first time and when we went to downtown Disney, the bus let us off at the market place. At that time I didn't realize there were two separate areas and we never went any further.

Glad to hear they connect. I love going in all the shops!

One bus stop in DTD, the Marketplace. You can walk from Marketplace to the Westside with no problem other than it is a long walk.

There is also a boat that runs from the new Marketplace dock on the bridge to SSR, stopping at both PI & West Side (HOB).
