Travel to US/IOA

We have 4 adults and want to know the cheapest/best way to get to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure for one day.

I am wondering the same thing? I was hoping not to rent a car for a day if its not necessary.

Well, the cheapest - but by NO means the most time-efficient - way would be via the public bus. See www.golynx.com for fares and routing. You'd catch the bus near the TTC, then have to ride to (I think) downtown Orlando and transfer to another bus to Universal.

Mears is about $15.00 PP RT from Disney resorts to Universal/IOA

Towncars can run about $65.00 + tip for a roundtrip to Universal/IOA

An Alamo Rental Car for 24 hours picked up at the Car Care Center at 7am one morning and returned at 7am the next morning for an economy car with no discount codes is $30.00 and change. (I picked a random date in July) Alamo will pick you up at your resort in a van. to take you to the CCC. (If you use this option, there will be a parking charge at Universal/IOA of $8-$9, plus, you'll probably need to put about $5.00 worth of gas in the car to top it off before turning it in.)
