travel to Hawaii

I have received lots of great info from this board throughout the years. We are contemplating a first time trip to Hawaii next year. I've researched different forums and can't find one as good as this one. Anybody know a great forum for Hawaii travel?
I wasn't sure where I should post this. Thanks!

I got some good ideas on tripadvisor.com - they have different forums for different islands - you have to put a location and then click on forums.

Try www.cruisecritic.com also. Since there are cruises around the Hawaiian Islands, there are good boards about excursions that would apply whether you're cruising or not.

i ADORE cruisecritic-but for a land vacation in hawaii its not going to be so great-lots of things you would do if not on a ship get missed and most things you can do on your own. There are-or used to be great discussion boards at hawaii.com. Also frommers.com has a Hawaii board that is pretty good.

For pure beauty and romance, you can't beat the west coast of Maui. Incredible sunsets and whale watching at the right time of year.

I recommend the Ritz Carlton or Kapalua Bay Hotel or Villas. Yes there are more secluded islands, but Maui's west coast is still not loaded with tourist areas.

Trip advisor is always my first site that I check when traveling. Thanks for the other sites mentioned. I'll check them out. We are considering taking the NCL cruise since it has more port time than other cruises. So I have been looking at cruise critic too. I just think this forum is the best.

You can select the state and filter out everything not Hawaii. I haven't been to that board for a while but it has always had a lot of active, well informed participants.

We took our first vacation to Hawaii this past June. LOVED IT! Travel time from east coast was horrendous, but so worth it.

ETA: I just saw the OP was looking for forums, sorry! But the Go Hawaii has lots of great info on it too.
