Travel to Fort Wilderness

Taking our first trip over to Fort Wilderness to see Hoop Dee Doo Revue.
How much time should I plan to get to the restaurant.

Am I correct we need to transfer to an internal bus at Fort Wilderness?

From CR it is a 10min boat ride to FW and a short walk from the dock to Pioneer Hall. From OKW you will need to go to MK then catch a boat from there to FW, allow about an hour to account for connections that you just miss.

You only need to take the bus if you drive or are dropped off at the resort entrance. As a previous poster said, if you take the boat from MK, Pioneer Hall is a short walk from the dock.

We are going in February and have reservations for the 7:15 show. What time should we leave POFQ? How much would a cab cost? Since the parks close, I believe, at 7 pm during that time how do we get back to POFQ?

As a general rule allow about 1 hour to get from one resort to another. You will still be able to goto MK to catch the boat to get there. To get home, if the parks are closed entirerly, no EMH or other event like MVMCP, there are usually busses at the Settlement stop(just a short walk from Pioneer Hall) to take people back to their hotels. A taxi shouldn't cost much since it is less than a 5/10 min drive to FW, but you will need to take any internal FW(yellow, orange or purple)bus from the Outpost stop to the Settlement stop.
