Travel to Cayo Coco

Has anyone ever stayed at the Hotel and Club Trup in Cayo Coco, Cuba? I'd love to hear about your experiences and opinions!

I did! We really enjoyed the resort. It is considered a **** We went June/98, when they were still building onto it. The beach was very nice, the pool was amazing. The food is just average, but I find it is like that in Cuba. They just don't know how to cook, we had stayed at The Melia Las Americas in Varadero which is a ***** plus the 1st time we went to Cuba, and the food wasn't great their either! The entertainment at night was lively and enjoyable. The kids were even allowed to stay and watch as they would have something in the disco for them and then the show. We have a picture of my then 4 1/2 DD sitting at the bar ordering herself a coke. It really was cute.
