Travel time from WL to DTD - buses?

In less than two weeks cheer2: ) my family of 4 will be at the WL. One night we have the kiddos booked in Cub's Den while DH and I "hit the town", ie, Downtown Disney. What kind of travel time should we plan for getting there and back, including typical bus wait time? Getting back is obviously the more critical time to know, since the kiddos have to be picked up by midnight.

we always give an hour, bus wait time, etc -- I would leave DTD at 11pm(be waiting for the bus)

I agree with debbiedoo. We always give ourselves an hour for travel time when using the busses.

In June we had an amount at BBB at DTD. We were running late and were afraid we wouldn't make it in time. We only had about 40 minutes. So we took a cab from WL to DTD. It was only about $16.00.

I agree with the above. An hour is safe. When we went to DTD we would always stop at FW first though and that seemed to be a little out of the way. Once the driver became lost but we saw a lot of FW we would not have seen

Having done the nailbiting anxiety of waiting for the bus to pick up a child by midnight, I'd go with the cab. You won't need to leave till 11:30, and will spare the anxiety from 10:30 on worrying about whether you'll get back in time.
