travel time from OKW???

We have 2 ADR's in the MK Hotels and I just want to know how much time to leave myself to get the bus and then the monorail over..I love the monorail system!!

Leave yourself at LEAST a half hour if not more. You can never be sure how
long you will have to wait for Disney Transportation. I was staying at OKW
in Dec. and had a 7:10 p.m. for CA Grille. We left at 5:30 to take the boat
to DTD where we caught a bus to the Contemporary. We arrived at the
restaurant RIGHT ON TIME.

I would leave at least an hour before your ADR, if not more. All the MK hotels are nice, so you could go early and wander around.
Last summer we went from BWV to the WCC at the WL and we spent a long time on buses and boats. Something like that is a good thing to do with a car, or in the middle of the day going between parks.

yeah, 45 minutes might be safer.

i'd hop a bus to the MK and then take the resort monorail to your destination. if you wind up being too early, i'd agree with the suggestion to poke your head into the lobby of the GF or poly and enjoy the atmosphere for a couple of minutes before hopping back on the monorail...

The transportation was so unreliable when we were there in Aug. that we left our unit around 6:10 for a 7:30 ressie at Boma (at AKL) and we were still about 10 minutes late! (We took the boat to DTD then caught a bus!)

We always allow at least an hour from OKW to the monorail resorts.

We assume a worst-case scenario where we just missed a bus and the next MK bus will be there in 20 minutes and then allow for the 15 bus ride to MK and then whatever time we'll need depending on which resort.

If it's the GF, we always take the launch near the monorail station as it's a direct trip where the monorail could take 45 minutes to go from MK to GF - counting stops at CR, TTC, PR and then on to GF.

If it's the CR, we will either take the monorail or just walk - time is about the same if the monorail is waiting.

If it's the Poly, we may take the launch or the monorail - but we'd allow an additional few minutes.

Here's the funny thing. It took us over an hour to get from OKW to CR using
Disney transportation. When we had a rental car, the trip was literally 5 min.
Sheesh......!
