Travel Time - BLT to AK for early safari breakfast

Hello. We haven't been to WDW since 1998 and haven't been to AK at all.

We have an ADR for 8:25 am. The reservation girl said to allow 15 minutes to walk from the entrance to the restaurant.

I see we can take the monorail to the transportation and ticket station and get on a bus to AK.

But how long will that take? Thanks so much!

We are very excited to be taking our DD for the first time!!! But I am getting a little overwhelmed with the planning.

Just take the bus from your resort to Animal Kingdom. I would be at the bus stop by 7:30.

Don't forget after you get on the bus from the Contemporary it will then stop to pick up guests at the Polynesian or Wilderness Lodge, so after the bus leaves either resort you will then go right to the Animal Kingdom.
