The spacebags, the ones needing a vaccuum, seal so well, you don't need mothballs. Depending upon the size of the bag, I put a dryer sheet in the bag, seal it, and vaccuum out the air. 6 mos. later when I open the bag, it smells nice and no problems with the clothes. I remove so much air, that my clothes are hard to the touch; I don't think an ant can fit in there, much less any other little critter.
