Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Intrepid
These folks both have cancer and live with a bay view in Olympia Washington but every year they plan to return to the winter sun.... strong willed to move forward and upright their patio chairs.... but grateful to have that dream of a patio sunset

Breyer's has a line called CarbSmart. It's a fraction of the calories and fat of regular ice cream and it's cheaper than options like Halo Top and Nick's. The vanilla is only 100 calories per serving and the serving size is pretty generous.
We love Carb Smart! We buy the vanilla a lot, but lately we've been getting the Rocky Road, and it's fabulous!

Cats - I just adore them!
Home - I am lucky to live in a nice house.
In-Laws - my DH's parents are awesome!
Planning - I'm a planner. I like coming up with ideas and knowing what to expect.
Sunshine - It's been rainy and grey here today, and I will be very grateful when the sun is out again.

Today's Topic (Tues, 3/24) - 3 things to drink (doesn't have to be cocktails!) that you're grateful for

Coffee!! - some days, there is not enough coffee in the world :rotfl2:

Real-sugar Pepsi - not very often, mind you, but once in a great while when I need a taste from childhood

a blue margarita - a fun and tropical favorite when I'm on vacation

That's one of the flavors we don't get here. I'm pretty fond of the mint chocolate cookie Carb Smart, but I tend to do better with jazzing up a bowl of vanilla.

COFFEE ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Coke - not any other brand must be Coke Cola or I’ll pass
Water 💧
Sparking Wine 🍷
Palomas
Rum
Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice ❤️❤️❤️
Tequila
Jack Daniel’s Whiskey 🥃

Ooooh, COCKTAILS!!

We went out on Sunday to a local pub that is closing- it was their last day. We were drinking Old Fashioneds when they ran out of low-to-mid range bourbon, so the barkeep ended up pouring a very top-shelf bourbon, Bookers, and charging house prices. It was amazing!!

The Bloody Mary at Dawa Bar in Animal Kingdom. Instead of horseradish they use the seasoning sauce that is used on many of the meats at Boma (periperi? berebere?) and then top it with a big, thick slice of candied bacon. I am not a huge vodka fan, but this is one of my favorite cocktails in all of Disney World!

The bartender here in town is one of the best I've run into anywhere, and that includes Disney, New Orleans, and Manhattan. He makes an amazing Sazarac, using an atomizer to spritz the glass and drink with absinthe. It smells amazing, and tastes even better. I prefer Eddie's drinks to those made at the Hotel Roosevelt in New Orleans, where the drink originated.

Freebies - We went out the other night to watch basketball. I was indulging a bit and having pear cider they accidentally brought me an extra. It was on the house. I love FREE!

Crystal Light Energy Lemonade - I don't drink coffee and I try to limit my diet soda to going out to eat and pre-gym. This is my get up and go bev in the morning.

Moose Drool - DH and I have been a fan since our first trip to WY back in 2005. You can't get it everywhere, but we're happy when we do...especially if it's on tap. I was incredibly grateful to have a day to burn in Missoula, MT over last summer and I got to have it straight from the source (local brewery) as well as some special editions and other Big Sky offerings.
