Anyone purchase insurance from a company "travel insured"? I found thier info on the insuremytrip.com site and they seem to have the most coverage for the least $. They even beat Access America.

I don't know about that site, but w/Disney I got the insurance for $257 (dh, myself, dd). I went to Access America and bought it there instead - $119. They charge a $3 fee which is included in that price. The best was that my dd was free, so check out the site again if you have kids b/c they are free. We got the best comprehensive plan. Disney insured just the cruise. With Acess America directly we also insured our airfare, and 3 days at WDW before the cruise.
Needless to say I cx the trip insurance with Disney and got it directly.

How did you get it for $119? They quoted me 181. (WE are doing the land/sea package for around $3700). We had to give them the total trip cost and it did not say anything in the web site about children being free. My son will be 3, and when I called they quoted me less for him but there was still a charge.

How did you find out that kids are free...I didn't see anything like that on their website...

Thanks.

I found it on the access america website. DH and myself are 39 so we pay $59 each. There is a $3 fee: $119. I got the family comprehensive plan which equals DCL, except for a $10K difference in emergency evacuation (DCL $20K, AA $10K), and luggage ins. (DCL $3,000 pp, AA $750 PP). Here is a link - hope it works.

By the way, I did the "ressie" over the phone. The woman asked if I belonged to AAA, so maybe that is why the pricing is different?

OK, Here is the deal, I just got off the phone with Access America (1-866-807-3982). there is a special with AAA, and you do not need to be a member.

The insurance is done through Access America. It is called Trip Assist Family CAre and it is basically the same as comprehensive coverage. It is $59/per adult and free for children. You can book it over the phone, or through the website: www.accessamerica.com/aaa. When you get in go to compare products. This is not available on the regular access america website. You must put in AAA.

I went over all the coverage and restrictions and it is as good as any - for $119!

Hope this helps future travelers.

Glad the link worked. Hope this helps others too. BIG Savings for us - over $100!!

I literally just got off the phone with Access America. When I asked the very helpful person how I calculate my amount, she said to calculate the total trip amount for each adult. Children under 16 are free. I too just got my whole trip covered for $119. She told me that the children would be covered for up to the $1500 same as us adults.
