We usually have journeywise.co.uk for travel insurance, But today when I phoned they had increased the family ins by ten pounds and then said I also have to pay out for a single ins for my son as he's now 19, and won't come under the family ins quote. This all amounts to around £103 compared with £58 last year.
It seems like a big jump from last years prices to me cos of the extra ins. Can anyone tell me of other ins companies who are reasonable,
Thanks

Try Direct Travel Insurance

Standard Worldwide Family cover is £65

Note - Family cover is provided for husband and wife (or common-law partner) together with any number of dependent children under 19 years of age (or under 23 years of age if in full time further education)

Hope this helps !!!

Hiya

There's a big article on this in the "The Sun" newspaper today comparing Travel Insurance. May not be your 'taste' in newspapers but could be worth 30p to buy it just for that.

i've got a good quote from Marks & Spencer , sorry can't remember how much because I don't intend booking for another couple of months.

I know it was cheaper than Sainsburys & Tesco & firm we used last year.

Also for an Extra £10 There's no excess if you have to make a claim. It was for all the family for a year.

It sounded like a good deal & I shall contact them again nearer our date of travel.

Their number is in yellow pages, sorry i don't know how to do links.
