I see where many of you like insuremytrip.com. How does it work when you book your flight and then wait to book the hotel/ticket package until later? My flight prices are good right now but I am waiting for the fall promos to come out before I book the rest of the package. I am not sure how the insurance thing works since I have never done it before. Should I insure right after buying my plane tickets? Do you have to estimate total package costs right away?

You call them again and add it on. We also had to send a quick email to be official. Each time you add a component to the trip just tack it on. They will let you know if and when each addon requires more premium.
