Travel insurance?

Hi folks, just posting a little message to see if anyone can help me with travel insurance? My son was born with a medical deficency that resulted in his body not producing enough sodium, this condition has rectifiied itself and since the age of 6 months he has been clear of this condition he is now 2 years of age. We were just wondering should we take any particular travel insurance just incase this flares up again? Although i dont think there is any real need due to fact hes been fine for year and a half, we have a family of 5 what travel insurance do most people use or recommend? Any feedback would be great. Thank very much.

I would seek advice from your GP before deciding on what travel insurance to get.

Also if you travel a few times a year concider getting a quote for annual insurance.

Don't think your GP will be able to help here.

Best to be sure you inform the travel insurance company of exact condition, last treatment etc and they will let you know if you'll have to pay more.

Remember to shop around as you may find that some companies will want extra and others will not!

What I ment was the OP should check with her GP if there is any risk of the condition coming back again. If you even suggest your child has a condition then the insurers will see this as a risk and you WILL pay more.
