travel industry discount?

Does anyone know if the discount give to the travel industry (travel agents) is comprable to the AP discount? I am in danger of losing my agent status and use the discount program all the time. I am trying to decide whether to back go back to the office (just to keep my IATAN ID card) or invest in AP's. Advice needed please.

I am not sure what the TA discout is, as it has never been available for my dates at the resorts we wanted. You can call and ask them to check TA rate versus AP rate for you to determine whether or not it is worth it.

To be honest, I think it is better to purchase an AP and then be paid the commission off your resort stay (you get 10% commission...most passes are btwn. 5 and 7.5% commission, but you don't get any commission on APs).
