I've read experiences where people answered the old health questionnaire that they'd had the sniffles or a cough, etc. and what the process was for those people. It was further screening before a decision was made to allow or deny boarding.

What about the newer travel history section? What if you answered "Yes" to having been in Guinea? What happens then? What's the procedure? Is there further screening or documentation needed? Do they automatically deny your boarding? I'm curious!

if you've been somewhere AND have, say, a fever, that's a problem. have you recently been to those places? :magnify:

No. I have not. A couple years ago my husband's uncle worked in Equatorial Guinea. It's not the same as the Guinea in the travel history. It's in West Central Africa on the coast.

Husband and his uncle have tossed around the idea of looking back into that job. I remembered the travel history part of the new questionnaire and was like, "Oh WAIT!" LOL! I guess technically the answer to the question on the travel history would be no because Guinea is not the same as Equatorial Guinea. Even the CDC travel page for Equatorial Guinea is okay.
