Travel Guide for Kids

I'm looking for a DW travel guide for my 11 year old daugther. I already have the Unofficial Guide, but am looking for something with a few more pictures and less words (and geared towards kids). I've heard there's a Disney for Kids by Kids, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know the official name/author? Any other suggestions would be great too!

The book you're looking for is called "Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids by Kids". My DD's have it (12 and 9) and love it. You should be able to find it in any bookstore for around $13.00. Hope this helps.

I got the Birnbaum book from Amazon.com when I ordered my passporter. We're going in December and I think I will give it to him on Thanksgiving. I looked through it and it looks great for a kid.

DS9 has the Birnbaum book and he enjoys looking at it, reading through it, etc. We went to WDW in January for the first time, and we are going back in October so he is having fun finding things we missed and getting a list together of things he wants to be sure to see when we go back.

We bought ours at Borders - they had it shelved along with all the other WDW guides in the "Travel" section.

What about getting her the guide to hidden Mickeys? I think I got mine thru Amazon - under $15. Its like a pocket guide that tells about the hidden Mickeys in the parks and I think gives scavenger hunts. Might be a fun way for her to pass the time - hunting them down.
