Where do you stop when traveling down I-95 to WDW?

We will be leaving from VA (Hampton Roads area) and trying to do about 7 hours on the 1st day/evening? That looks like it would put us right at the SC/GA line. Any recommendations for lodging in and around that area?

Stop by a Flying J and pick up a book called "The Next Exit". it list what is within a 1/2 mile of the Exit ramps on all interstates in the US.
Depending how traffic conditions are 7 hrs may only get you to the NC/SC border. With that book you can see what is close when you get tired of driving and pull in for the night. Last year it took us 12 hrs from Petersburg to the gate at Disney with 2 people driving and switching every couple of hours 12 hrs is not that bad of a drive.

several times. My recomendations

Jameson Inn - Pooler Ga (just over 7 hours)
Comfort Inn/Suites - Walterboro, SC (about 6 1/2)
Clarks Inn / Holiday Inn - Santee SC (about 6 hours)

All of these we have found to be clean and reasonable (with the exception of H Inn which we haven't stayed at yet) but we will be staying there in 6 days on our way down

The Jameson Inn has a Cracker Barrel right next to it so that is always a fave.

There are also some hotels off of exits 94(?) I think in GA, Hampton Inn? Holiday Inn etc.

We usually stop around Savannah - always try to find a Hampton Inn. I've found the rooms to be pretty consistent this way. Quick/easy breakfast in the morning. There are plenty of Hamptons just off of 95.

We usually stop around Savannah - always try to find a Hampton Inn. I've found the rooms to be pretty consistent this way. Quick/easy breakfast in the morning. There are plenty of Hamptons just off of 95.

We do this too (we have relatives in the Hampton Roads area). We usually stop around the Port Wentworth exit just after (or before, since we're going north) the GA border. There are plenty of places just off 95 around Savannah, and easy access on and off the highway as well.
