Travel from DS to DTD?

Your car or a cab are the fastest and most direct. This is what we do, and to us paying the cab fare is worth it, if we don't have a car.

You could take a boat to a close resort, or walk to a close resort, or take a bus to a close resort, then take a bus or boat from the resort to DTD. To me this is a hassle and a huge time waster, though. We just cab it.

Otherwise you can take a boat over to the Swan/Dolphin and a bus from there. You can also walk to the Swan, but the boat is probably nicer. Instead of walking to the left upon leaving the park (where the buses are) you would walk to the right and down to the boat launch on the water.

You could also hop on the first resort bus you see. Don't take a Monorail resort bus, but any moderate, value or AKL will do.

Wow! I just looked at the overview Disney world map on the Disney website. Yikes! that map is excessively distorted. On theri map it makes it look as though Epcot and Wilderness cabins are right next to each other. AndI though there old map was bad. Yikes!

What would be the quickest way to get from Disney Studios to Downtown Disney?

Bus to Saratoga Springs Resort.

Bus, Boat or Walk** from there to DTD.

**The WALKING route:
Take the bus from the park to Saratoga Springs Resort.
Exit the bus at Congress Park bus stop.
Walk towards the lake and veer left.
Walk on to DTD.

Walk to BW, then take their bus to DTD.
Or, take the bus to SSR and then boat or walk to DTD.
Or...bus to OKW or POR and take the boat to DTD.
There truly is no 'fast' way to get from a park to DTD, using Disney transport anyway.
