Travel Crib Soothers?

Each night my DD falls asleep in her crib with a little help from the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium. I have taken it with me on trips before but it takes up SO much room. We have the newer version that has the big thing on the back that goes through the crib rails.

Has anyone seen a similar crib soother that is travel size? I was looking on EBay and I guess the version before this doesn't have the big bulky thing on the back. That is one option.

Any suggestions?

ABBF (A baby's best friend) has them for rent if you don't want to take yours along. I'd definitely use one on vacation if that is how your baby is used to going to sleep with one. The last thing you want is to disrupt the bedtime routine.

Exactly! We work hard to keep her in the bedtime routine and so far it has paid off. DH jokes that the aquarium has more frequent flier miles than he does this year.

I don't know what the Fisher Price Wonders Aquarium does (I have the impression that it is lights and sound), but I just use a sound machine for DD. It travels well. You could transition her to something more portable now.

I was worried about making her dependent on something for sleep, but as DH pointed out, I can send her off to college with that thing!
