Travel Channel?

I'm not really a watcher of this channel but I like the show Great Hotels (I think that's the name). Anyway, today I caught the show and they were doing the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Has anyone ever seen other WDW resorts on this particular channel/show? It seems I saw the Wilderness Lodge on this same show awhile back. But it was before I had decided to go to WDW and I wasn't entering the information in my long-term memory, ya know? I could swear I saw the host walking through and describing the lobby of this hotel though. It's really a great place to learn about a specific resort...assuming they do a show on most of them. It's probably just the deluxe resorts they focus on. I doubt they would have the Value hotels and some of the Moderates on this show. So, anyone seen other resorts highlighted?

I've seen them feature GF, YC, WL/FW and AKL and heard that Samantha Brown won't "do" the Poly because it's not authentic (but AKL is? LOL). She was also spotted outside Hoop-de-doo review with a group of folk more recently so there may be more to come.

There is a way to research on Travel Channel's web site for what they will be playing and when, but I have yet to figure out how I did it the first time. I'd love to record each of the episides just to help me with my Disney fixes when I can't be there in person.

Here is a link to a site that lists Disney on TV. Someone posted it on here a few months ago and I was so glad that I bookmarked it. My husband saw a show on the Food Channel (Unwrapped at WDW) in the middle of the night one night and I was able to see when it would be on again. The kids are doing the cooking adventures at GF and they loved being able to see what it will be like.

Tivo is the greatest invention ever!

Ive seen Great Hotels episodes on the GF, Y&BC, AKL, and the WL (Samatha goes to the HDDR during this episode). I've also seen an episode on the Grand Californian at DL.

There's an Unwrapped on Disney food.

There have been shows on the travel channel including Disney's Great Escapes (featuring a bunch of hotels), Behind the Sceens, Undiscovered Disney World, Fan's Guide the WDW (featuring a DIS'er), behind the sceens at Disney Studios Paris.

If I'd done as many hotels in Hawaii as she has done, I'd probably think it wasn't authentic, too. However, for the rest of us who haven't done Hawaii....
