Thank you. We just booked a 4 day trip to AKL Concierge's and this would be a great way to start getting excited! :dog:

Anyone hear anything about the Travel Channel doing any new shows? ::MickeyMo The ones listed were great the first 75 times I watched them but are getting a little tired.

I completely agree. I need some new WDW shows. How many decades do they keep replaying the same ones? :rotfl2: And why is it that some of them when they give you "tips" the tip is something like "if there are two lines be sure to take the shorter one, that one will be quicker". Very helpful. :rotfl:

Well...I've found a majority of the population require the obvious approach. You've overheard ppl saying (in reference to the fast pass) that it was cutting, required a seperate ticket or *gasp* was a line for a different attraction. Some ppl just don't "absorb" well so you must be direct and blunt and REPETITIVE. Of course, all of the above doesn not, I repeat DOES NOT, apply to the savy DISer.....or anyone who has ever cracked the cover of a travel book.....hmmmm or anyone that doesn't live on Mars full time. :rotfl2:

Wow..is it just me or is it EXTREMELY difficult to convey sarcasim on a message board? We need a moticon for that.

Great information! I sometimes find these when I am channel surfing. It will be so much easier to know ahead of time. Thanks.

I tried to tape a show on maybe Aug. 30- Disney Resort Destinations or something like that- did anyone tape it, or watch it? I got the first part about the GF they showed the Wedding Chapel, a welcome to the GF plate of chocolate covered strawberries, then my VCR quit. Any info on the next showing?

Thanks for posting.

We were actually in Disneyland staying at GC (June 2003) while they were taping a show of Great Hotels (I think it's called that). They got shots of our backs as we sat around the fireplace in the lobby. :goodvibes

Dave Dizney~ You are my HERO!!!! :cool1:

I called my family and said "turn on the travel channel now, this guy made up schedules" :earseek:

I did that for our last family trip in August, there were 10 of us,
and they ALL made fun of me~ :rotfl2: BUT they used them and they worked, but they still make fun of me to this day!

So I was excited to see your "family schedule's" :cheer2: :cheer2:
so I could prove to my family that I'm not nut's, it's just a "Disney Thing" :cool1:
Thanks again Dave! :cool1: YOU ROCK! :cool1:

Woot! Woot! Let's hear it for us over-planners! People who make fun of us just want to be like us! :smooth:

And I'm sure you know, making those schedules sometimes is the only way to keep your sanity those weeks and months (or years) before you go! And you know, every time I enter Main Street, a sence of euphoria so overcomes me that if I didn't have my little schedules I'd be skipping through the park only visiting churro carts.

Thanks for affirming my pscycosis!

Yeah! Thanks Dave. I've ALWAYS had a plan/schedule in hand...even with a list of backup plans in case of rain/extremley long lines (blame it on UG!). However, it never occured to me to make a list for everyone else! No one minds following the plan but they always ask "where to next?" And I like the size/shape of the lists you handed out...about like a book mark. I plan to print up the same thing (on cardstock..its a little stiffer...and I think that you may have even done this?) for the whole group. My son can't read yet so I thought I'd make him a list of little ICONS....such as a rocket for SM or buzz for buzz light year's space ranger spin, a train for BTMRR, ect. He loves getting involved and helping out (and BOSSING) so he'll get a kick out of playing tour guide!

Of course card stock! But contrary to popular belief, the lists are NOT laminated! :teeth:

Great idea about the icons for your child!

Sept 10 10:00 am - Fan's Guide to Walt Disney World.

Cant find this show I guess there is some mistake because it is not on today.
Oh Well!!!

It was on September 6th at 10:00 am EST. Next airdate is December 8th at 5:00 pm EST. :wave2: I always keep the next airdate in my signature if anyone is ever wondering. :teeth:
