Travel Channel Re:DCL on this morning!

I watched it again this morning too, although it had sort of a melancholy effect on me. As much as I love DCL, it saddens me to know that Matt Ouimet is no longer head of DCL. And I was even more upset when I heard that Rick Spath is no longer working for Disney.

I know that things rarely stay the same, but nonetheless I am saddened by these changes. They will be missed (along with Captain Hans).

The Travel Channel doesn't list another air date right now. Just watch this board, someone usually posts when it will be on.

We watched the show Friday night (I had it on my calendar for weeks so I didn't forget). It was AWESOME!!!!

We're taking our first cruise in August (7dayWesternMagic), and we haven't told our children yet (they're 5-1/2 and 9). They were watching the show with DH and I, and kept exclaiming--"WOW! COOL! Could we go on that boat some day?"

DH and I are so excited, it was hard to continue "keeping the secret". We can't wait to tell the kids we're really going on that boat! We're not telling them until it gets a lot closer though, because the 5 year old will ask at least 10 times every day, "is it time to leave yet?" lol!

Funny, we haven't told our two yet either. They are 5 & 6 and the little one would bug me to death from now til October (Western Magic 10/9). I'm so hoping the Travel Channel will rebroadcast this show. Our tenth anniversary was Fri night and dh and I went out to dinner and a movie sans children. I set the recorder to tape the show but unfortunately our sitter forgot and let the kids put in a movie and so, no show. Didn't realize it would be on again the next morning. So if anyone sees it being rebroadcast please be sure to post. Or, hmmm wonder if I could get a tape of the show straight from the Travel Channel? I'll have to see if I can find a website.
