Travel Channel on Mediacom trouble?

My Medicacom cable will not switch to the Travel Channel. When I try to go there, the current channel freezes on whatever is on the screen at the time. This has been happening for several days. Is anyone else having this issue? I wanted to know before I go calling the cable company. I love the TC and watch it often. Thanks!

I have Mediacom - and I just checked - and was able to get to the TC. Samantha Brown is on right now.

Well thanks for your reply. I can't find any info on a problem anywhere and of course, I emailed their tech, but haven't heard anything yet. Guess I will have to call and stay on hold forever.

Are you using a cable box? I can't say that this won't do anything strange (like missing channels for a bit), but have you tried unplugging the cable box for about 30 seconds and plugging it back in? It could need a "reboot"...all these things run an OS under the covers...and the more "intelligent" they make them, the more they need to be rebooted...
