A show will air the week of 4/9 called Expedition Everest: Journey to Sacred Lands. It chronicles Disney's trip to Asia to do research for the new attraction.

I heard about that too. I don't think there's much about the ride- it's more like a National Geographic special about Everest and its region.

There was an article in the paper Sunday about Expedition Everest (the ride) and it mentioned the special. I though it said 4/7 - I'll have to read it again!

I believe the Discovery Channel is running at least one program on Expedition Everest as well, maybe more than that.
