Does anyone know what I am talking about here? I am looking for a travel car seat it is a small foldable cloth type restaint car seat. That is the best way I can explain it. I saw this a year or so ago at babys r us and have not seen one in a long time. I called them today and they said they had no clue what I was talking about. My friends no what I mean but we have no idea to where to find one. After thinking abou this I figured I would ask here. YOu all seem to have so much knowledge.... :rotfl: PLEASE HELP ME :wizard:

TARA! THANK YOU! OMG I AM NOT GOING CRAZY! Anyway this is just what I was looking for pnly when I saw it the price was only 19.00! OH well. It still beats lugging around a car seat and paying to rent one. Thanks.

I bought one similar to this at Wal-mart a couple years ago. ( For about half the price.) I returned it as soon as I tried using it, because it slid around so much. I didn't feel my DS was safe. Of course, we always drive our own car on vacation. I was just trying to avoid some bulk in the van. It may be worth it if you fly and/or rent a car.

I have one of these I was about to list on ebay. Anyone interested just email me. It was used 3 or 4 times by my son's grandparents. He is now in a booster seat.

Yes I saw that thanks. I really just want it for the rental car. My friend wanted one for the plane. I guess she is out of luck. Thanks for the reminder. :)

I bought two of these for my twins when we went to WDW and never ended up using them because the minivan had built in , fold-down car seats. They were great! If you're getting a minivan , check out this option!

Hi! Since I fly by myself with my 2 y.o. DD about every 3 weeks, I needed one of these car seats. Tried it out at home, no problem, then soon as I needed it in a rental car, she refused to use it! She hates her regular carseat anyway, but I think one problem is that she can't see out as well as her "big" carseat. Yes, it does slide around, so make sure to use the brass strap keeper (technical term?) to keep it in place. Then, I also used 2 seat belts to get rid of the sway.

I have one of these as well and there is only one problem with them: they don't work unless you have a locking seat belt--by that i mean if you pull the seat belt all the way out and it retract and locks it will work but any other seatbelt it won't fit snug.
I bought mine to use for our disney trip instead of taking my dd's carseat but ended up taking her carseat because it is hard to know if the vehicle you rent will have that kind of seatbelts untl you get there and check it out!

Thanks now if I find I one I wil make sure that my car has locking seat belts. i will call budget to make sure. Thanks for letting me know this!

No problem--if i would have known this before i bought mine i wouldn't have gotten it just because every vehicle we own does not have locking seatbelts.
I should put mine on ebay if i ever figure out how to do it! :confused3
