Travel Booster Car Seats

We used the Bubble Bum for several years on trips before we accidentally left it in the taxi we took to our Disney cruise in San Juan! Covid hit right after that though and now that we're able to travel again, our son doesn't need it anymore, so it wasn't a huge deal. But it worked great for us!

Yes, we used one of these when DD was younger. I thought it was convenient and easy to carry when uninflated. My only suggestion is to practice installing it at home so it goes faster when using a taxi or whatever.

We travel with two Mifold seats. I like that they fold up quickly and take up very little space in my purse if that’s the only bag we end up carrying around.

We use a hiccapop uberboost (inflatable like the bubble bum, but the seat is a little bigger… got from amazon). No complaints so far and makes traveling SO much easier!

My boss bought the bubble bum and hated it.
I borrowed it from her and hated it.
We both thought it was VERY tricky to get positioned, especially in a taxi/uber situation where the driver wants to leave.
(It also wasn't terribly tiny, its not something I'd want to haul around all day.)

We now just use a regular backless booster. It checks for free on an airplane, isn't heavy to carry, and can easily be stashed in a corner if you are at a wedding.

We didn’t like the bubble bum when DS was 4 and we were on St. Kitt’s… it was too hard to position well.

When we were on St. Kitt's, our return taxi didn't have seatbelts!

(We found that seatbelts were kind of hit or miss in the islands in general.
