Travel between resorts

I will be staying at All Stars or Pop and my DM and DNiece and DNephews will be staying at the Yacht Club...so I want to meet up with them at their hotel as we leave for the parks. Keep in mind it's going to be very early like 6:30am, so i'm not sure all the bus transfers will work like going to ttc or to a park, has anyone ever taken a taxi? and how much? Or is there a better idea?

We find that meeting in the park is the best bet when others are at a different resort.

We call on the cell phone and meet up. Works out great, even when staying in the same resort.

There are no direct resort to resort busses, and I would assume taking a taxi would become quiet expensive over the length of stay.

If you have a car, that would be the best way.

If you're both using WDW transportation, I'd meet up at park entrance rather than hotel. I don't know if Yacht Club has a bus for Epcot in addition to boat. Check that out, because if Mom and Ns are coming in the back (World Showcase) entrance and you're waiting at the front (Future World) entrance, you might both sit there waiting!

If you really want to arrive together, a cheapo, bottom of the line rental car won't be a whole lot more than taking a cab every day.

I walk at OKW in the morning.

I saw a MK bus at OKW at 6:30, another one at around 6:45 and by 6:55 a studio bus.

can you change your time til 7:00am.

these buses (I think) are for the characters meals that start at 7:00am - the MK resorts and Epcot resorts both have them.

Epcot resorts can be easily enter from the Studio - walk or boat ride. to get to these resorts from Epcot - Epcot must be open - which it won't be at 7:00am.

There are no buses from any of the Epcot resorts to the front of Epcot. Guests at these resorts would enter through the International Gateway.

go over on the transportation board and ask chip n' dale express (tyler) - he is saying that the buses for MK/Studios start at 6:15 am.

No matter what time the buses start, I would think it would be easier to just meet at the park. Just be sure the be specific about the meeting place so no one gets lost. Enjoy, whatever you decide to do!
