Travel BACK to airport

Our first flight out is at 2:30pm out of LAX.
How long should I allow for travel. Thinking of taking DL shuttle....
Was hoping maybe I could get us into a character breakfast that morning before we left since we wont be doing a park at all that day.

I would take the DL shuttle. Be sure to ask what departure time the shuttle people would recommend, they can tell you almost to the minute how long it will take to get to the airport on any given day. With a flight leaving at 2:30, I would like to leave the hotel no later than 11:00am. This would leave plenty of time for a character breakfast.

I can't answer your question about the shuttle. However, our last day was not a Park day and we did brunch at Goofy's Kitchen and it was a great way to end our trip. We enjoyed it so much!

I was wondering the same because we have a 2pm flight out of LAX and I want to hit the park that morning because we only have Friday from 3pm on, all day Sat and then Sunday until 11am. would a cab be less travel time?

Don’t forget that LAX recommends that you are at the airport 3 hours prior to your flight time for an international flight and 2 hours prior for a domestic flight. That being said, the DL Shuttle runs at specific times throughout the day and takes about one hour traveling time from the Disneyland Hotel. Depending on the hotel you are staying at, it will pick you up from your hotel (or a hotel near by), then go to other hotels, then the Disneyland hotel last. I think you should be fine if you leave the Disneyland Hotel by 10 (for international) or 11 (for domestic). Sounds early, but better to be at the airport with a lot of time, than to miss your flight. (Make sure to check your actual hotel pick up times too).

I would recommend 10:30. We left at 8:30 for an 11:30 flight on Sunday 6/29, ran into a few snafus, and only made it to the gate about 30-40 minutes prior to boarding. If everything goes fine you'll be there quite early, but you need to allow for everything not going fine as well.

We got a car service. They said it takes 45 min to LAX on a Monday early morning. I am pretty sure that with traffic it will take longer, correct? They said 7am for a 9:50 flight. As long as I can get through security without too much of a wait, I hope that will be fine, but I am not sure. We won't have to check baggage and my DH & DS will hopefully get to skip the security line. What do you think?
