Has anyone switched Travel Agents before. We are not happy with ours for SEVERAL reasons. We asked her for some information and she sent us to a website....that doesn't have prices...oh wait doesn't even service that port.

If you have who do you recommend.

\We are doing the 11 night Norwegian from Dover England. We have 5 mths before we leave and I feel there is sooo much to do. Please any help would be appreciated.

We gave up on travel agents. Everything can be done online and that is what we do.

Good luck.

While I haven't done it (do my own bookings), yes, it's been done by others. Be aware that some travel agents will charge a fee if you cancel/move your reservation with them.

Only time I used a TA, every time I asked a question, she'd say "I don't know, let's find out" and then proceed to call the cruise line or hotel, or whereever to ask. Well, I can do that.

It sounds like you've already booked your cruise with this travel agent. If so, your current travel agent will have to agree to release the reservation.

I've used Dreams Unlimited and been satisfied with the service I've received, but I'm not one who asks the TA to do much beyond making the booking.

I'm on that same cruise and I haven't done anything at all (besides book it I'd course) so I wouldn't fret too much.

I'm using dreams unlimited but really doing all the research myself. That said everything I've asked, she's gotten right back to me with the info. I just can't make decisions!

I will say, I do wish I had someone more knowledgeable about Europe. That would be more helpful to me than a Disney specialist but I am finding what I need on my own. And the OBC I'm getting more than makes up for my inconvenience.

Isn't there a rule that you can only change TAs within the first 30 days? OP, if it turns out your agent will charge you a fee or not relinquish the reservation and your booking is fairly recent, would you lose much by cancelling and rebooking anew with someone else, rather than moving it?
