I recently booked a package for POR in October and after about a week I thought I would transfer it to Dreams Unlimited (sorry if I'm not supposed to mention the name) so that someone could watch out for discounts for me and maybe make ADRs. My questions is, did I just give up control of my reservation? Can I still contact Disney about it etc.?

No, only your travel agent can contact Disney about your reservation. And Dreams Unlimited sponsors DISboards. (Although there's generally no rule against mentioning a business by name.)

You can still make your own ADR and FP but you can't call about room requests, make payments, etc.

Can I still use gift cards, Disney visa rewards etc. as forms of payment? On my credit card statement it will still reflect that the payment is going to Disney?

Basically, just saying Dreams Unlimited isn't actually allowed (even though the own the boards), but using their URL is. So if I talk about the big box agency I book cruises through, I type out costcotravel.com. Since it's going to come through in a readable way, I know it's right. If I put in a TA URL and when I click to preview it or fully post it, and see that it came out in x's, then it's NOT allowed and I'll edit it. (like xxxxx.com)
