Travel agent

I booked a cruise with MouseFanTravel a couple of years ago - but cancelled it. Nothing wrong with the travel agency...I just didn't go on the cruise.

Dreams Unlimited, the sponsor of the DIS boards, does a GREAT job! I DID go on the 4-night Wonder in January, booked through Dreams Unlimited. While onboard, I booked a 7-night cruise for Nov. 2009 that I transferred to DU. Just today I changed the date of that 7-night cruise to the 3-night the week before, and Kelsie was wonderful. :)

Nothing wrong with Mousefan, never heard of the others but why not use Dreams Unlimited which hosts these boards as a thank you.. They are AWESOME, are experts on the cruiseline and have the best on board credits available last I looked.

I have used mousefan multiple times over the past several years - no problems, no complaints.

This is the first I have heard of the other agents.

Better words were never spoken and I sincerely agree with your comment.
I have to say that DU are more than fair in allowing other TA to be advertised on their $$ - if that would have been done on others sites, they would have been slammed and boycotted.

This is one of the reasons I have such high respect for the entire staff of DU.
Blessings always

I love DU - Kelsie is amazing and the customer service I get from them is beyond belief. I am sold on them!

Cindy, have never heard of the other two but have of MouseFanTravel/MEI Travel. I'm using one of their agents for my sept 2009 cruise. She was able to get me the lowest quote out of all of the TA's I asked for quotes with a nice OBC. Sure, not as high as some other TA's but their price was also at least the difference in OBC higher + $100,-.

How I ended up with them? I got quotes from a number of TA's, at least all of the frequently mentioned TA's on the DIS and other bigger websites like allears.net and mousesavers. I also logged onto cruisecompete.com which I found a great tool for lazy me to get multiple quotes after only filling stuff out once.

Turned out the agent from MFT was the cheapest. Nice, but not the most important for me. So I talked to her over the phone as I like to hear the voice of somebody I might trust with something as important as a cruise. That sealed the deal, I knew this was an agent I was comfortable with trusting. She ended up gaining my trust to such an extend that I transferred our WDW reservation for this december to her also. And I'm a person that likes to be in controle herself normally. ;)

So far my experience has been great. Good customer service, good and correct info, very willing to think with me, she takes care of all of my special needs, quick responses and no worries during the time my agent is on vacation (that is bound to happen someday when booking in spring of 2008 and sailing in 2009). I found out she was even logging in during that, eventhough she had arranged for another agent to take care of her clients. :)

My advice? Go with a disney authorized agent. Be aware of what is important for your family. Settle for nothing less than that. Shop around and look at the whole package. Price, service and the feeling you get about your families needs, wants and likes being met. You'll want to be comfortable with whatever TA you decide to do business with. While a TA might be right for one person, it might not be for the other and vice versa. It's all very personal, can even vary from one person within the agency to another.

We are using All Seasons Travel, www.allseastravel.com I had a little snag when making the reservations. WHen booking, they spent extra time(like a few hours) on straightening out my Rewards Dollars when they really didnt have to. I am was inpressed with that. Just made final payment. I really, really like the fact that I can pickup the phone and speak to a person, they are open until 9 pm. I am not into e-mails for communication from a travel agency.

I have heard nothing but good things about All Seasons Travel.

Another All Seasons Travel customer here. They go above and beyond to help in any way. Last year on a cruise to Alaska, my DH and I ran into some legal trouble. They were "johnny on the spot".

I won't use anyone else.

Sorry, but I never heard of any of those agencys.

Good Luck

Ursula

I never heard of any of the TA listed, but here's another :thumbsup2 for dreams unlimited.I booked my cruise through them.Whenever I had a question I was emailed back within a VERY reasonable amount of time.I booked 2 cabins for my fam of 5 and received $400 in onboard credits. They do not hold your money and have the same policies for cancelling as disney.I booked through them after reading all the great reviews from here, and even though I could have used someone else, I have spent :surfweb: hours on these boards and felt what better way to show my appreciation. Combine that w/their excellent reputation and for me there was only one choice:)
