If you get an onboard credit from your TA, how does that work? Does it just somehow show up in your account once you’re on board? I’m new to cruising, but our TA said we would receive a $75 onboard credit!

Yes, an onboard credit will show up on your account after you board. You used to also get a note in your stateroom about the credit, but I am not sure if that is still happening.

We have gotten a note in our stateroom about the credit from our TA on our last two cruises (May and December 2024)!

I have never used a TA for a cruise but wonder about their services. If you are looking for a cabin on a sold out cruise or maybe a type of cabin on a particular ship that doesn't seem available over a range of time do they have any better way to know when a cancellation pops up or do they just have to keep randomly searching everyday just like we would. (Wishing there was a waitlist situation.)

There are a lot of great comments here. I would only suggest you research the TA on the internet. Balance what you find there with the suggestions here to make a decision
