I need help deciding on what Travel Agency to use. Based on my research this seems to be the best way to go. I would like positive and negative feedback on your experiences. Mouse Fan Travel was recommended to me.

Welcome to the boards!!! I have an awsome AAA agent that I use. If you would like her contact info just let me know. She is in Pennsylvania and I live in Kentucky meaning you can use any AAA office not just one that's local. Happy planning! :thumbsup2

I use Small World vacations. Found them on Mousesavers.com. My agent is Laura and she is wonderful. This year I have changed my mind 3 times on which resort I wanted to stay at and she was very patient with me and changed my reservation each time. And after all that, I decided to stay at WL, which was my first choice to begin with

I am using Small World Vacations as well. My agent is Beth. I have been very pleased with the service!

I used a AAA agent (and DISer) to book our first trip this summer! The price of membership was so worth the savings!! :thumbsup2

Just wondering... What is the benefit to using an agent vs. booking thru Disney yourself and giving them your AAA #?

I'm using Danielle because she's totally awesome and if you want both the AAA discount and the MYW Dining Plan then you must book your package thru AAA. ;)

The top benefit for me is if I book at rack rate, she has always been able to get me the better rate (such as AP) when it comes out. When I use to do it myself, I hated waiting on hold to get through for the discount. She has always gotten it for me. She also books our dinner reservations and is always there to answer any question I had.

I guess what I'm saying is the convenience.

Just wondering if she has been able to get you a reservation for Cinderella's Castle. We are really wanting to go there on our trip and I have never been able to get a reservation there nor have any of my friends.

You have to book with an AAA agent to get a package w/ AAA discount. If you just want room-only, you can book it right through Disney. :)

Sandy Nussbaum from Instant Impressions, At first I was really panicked because I didn't kinow her bean from adam. She really came through for me and helped put my fears at ease by giving all of my confirmation numbers for the flights to and from WDW as well as my number to confirm my reservation with disney itself. So far she has been a jewel that I think shines really bright and is helping us in all sorts of ways. At this point I can't say enough good things about her. If you would like to contact her drop me a line and I will be more than happy to send you her way or visa versa.

My agent is Josephine from Small World Vacations. I am also very pleased with her, especially her input for the dinner reservations.

It really helps to have someone who went there so many times and knows the place inside out.

That all depends on when you are going... If you're going less than 6 months from now... Not a chance! More than 6 months from now then your chances are very good!

I used Dreams Unlimited and my experience was somewhat positive. I have to say going forward though, I would not use a travel agent, I am quite capable of doing it myself. The part I hated was if I wanted to call and found out something on my room myself, I could not because the travel agent owned the reservation. I think with this board you can do it yourself.

CAlled yesterday and today and still haven't gotten a call back. Maybe I need to get a AAA agent from some of you. ;)

DITTO!!!

Been corresponding with Dreams Unlimited. Is this a good agency to work with? Thus far they have been very helpful in answering my question. How do you contact Instant Impressions. Can't find it when I google it.
