Trash the Dress

Heard of it, and can say that it definately isn't for me! I'm freaking that my dress will get dirty from the sand on Castaway Cay!:lmao: No way could I ever do something like purposely get it wet or dirty!! I know that i'll never wear the dress again, but that's besides the point. The Dress has sentimental value to me and i could never intentionally trash it.

There was a girl on here who did a trash the dress shoot at Blizzard Beach...pretty cool...but like the pp said..totally not for me I  my dress too much!

I thought about doing it. I'll have to see how I feel about it after the wedding, but I'm still considering it.

That first pic is insane!! No way was that just a regular bride with her dress on fire. That is way too dangerous for someone not experienced to do. I would NEVER set my dress on fire. The pics are great and I know my Aunt is interested in doing something similiar. Hopefully rolling around in sand will be enough for her! :)

heeeeeeeeeeeeell NO!!!!:scared1:

My dress is way too precious to me, the thought of getting it dirty flips me out let a long wrecking it.

Thats def a moment of madness that i intend to pass on

Yeah that's a good plan... Put your dress on and light it on fire!!:lmao:

There's no way in the world I could trash my dress!! For some it'd be pretty cool but I'd probably cry after I did it. Haha.

Shorely if you get your wedding dress soaked in water and it's white then it would be see through !! Not a pretty sight for my guests on my wedding day :rotfl2:

i really considered trashing my dress, but decided to wait to see how i felt about it on my wedding day. besides the fact that my dress weighed a TON, i decided not to trash it...yet. i might do it on our 1st anniversary at the club that my dh owns.

This is about as close as I came to trashing my dress... :rotfl:

Yeah, I would assume that was a stunt person, because - um, fire hurts. I don't think I could handle anything that crazy (and I'd be afraid of the bad juju that comes with burning your wedding dress!!) but I wouldn't mind getting on the ground or in an alley or something for some texture...A fountain would be the coolest, plus its not really "ruined" just wet.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Never thought of that! BUT my dress is pretty thick so I don't think it would be like a wet teeshirt contest...plus its definitely an after the event sort of thing... like months later or whatever. I'd hate to have to spend the money on ANOTHER photographer too, so maybe not....

Lurky - I LOVE that shot, i'm totally doing a star wars shot with the bouquet, hope you don't mind me copying!! IT'S AWESOME!! Especially because DF and I are HUGE nerds!!:hyper: :chewy: :ewok: :darth: :yoda:

Trashing the dress? That's horrible! I really like my dress, it's going to be harder to get me to not wear it. I'll be that weird woman in the supermarket wearing her wedding dress. I'm sure DF would NEVER notice or mind.

Were there pictures of that?!

I wouldn't mind one in the ocean with my DF but I think I would regret trashing my dress later.

I think I might, if the time comes, do one of the water deals, that way its not RUINED, just needs to be dry cleaned before I store it.
