I know it says on the main site that if your stay is for less than 7 days, you get a T&T on day four, but our fourth day will be checkout day. How will this work? Will we only get one set of towels, toiletries, etc. the entire time? This is fine by me (We can bring extra towels and washclothes from home) but it would be nice to know how this works.

Also, there will be four of us in a studio. Will there be one towel for each person? What about the other things such as toiletries and washclothes? Basically my question is how many of each thing does each person get? Like I said there will be four of us.

BTW, we'll be at HHI.

TIA. :)

Also - will we get 4 of the toiletries package at the start of our stay since we have 4 in the room? This would mean one shampoo, body soap, and facial soap for each person.

TIA again. :)

LOL - another question. Since the day we check out is actually Day 4, would we be eligible for T&T for that day? I was thinking that if we were we could move it to the third day or something.

Sorry for all the questions. TIA again and again. :)

For a 3 night stay you won't get this service unless you pay out of pocket for it.

You get one shampoo, condition, face soap, and bath soap for the room, not per person. 4 towels and washclothes. You can order more for $$, or bring from home (or buy locally).

There's really no "moving" any of the cleanings around - it's not a matter of "earning" one every four days and choosing which day you'd like it. It's just Day 4, period. So if you're leaving that day anyway, you wouldn't be getting any Trash and Towel, because they'd just wait until you checked out and do a full cleaning for the next guests.

I think the bathroom is stocked with one bar of facial soap, one bar of bath soap, one bottle of shampoo and conditoner - not one for each person. So we always bring extras - actually we just pack what we use at home - although we do use the soap. We share the bar of soap, just like we do at home. We couldn't use up even one bar of soap in 4 days.

I'd bring extra towels so you won't have to do laundry, since you're in a studio. One of my best tips (we are a family of 3 girls and big hair-washers!) is to bring some of those turban-style hair wraps when we vacation. It saves on how many body towels we go through!!!! We can make towels last twice as long if we use those and hang them up to dry.

Thanks for the idea Liz! I have one of those turban-wraps made of super absorbant whatever I use when I go to the Y(I have thick hair and it takes forever to dry).

Thanks for all the responses. We will definately bring extra towels and toiletries. The only thing we might buy is an extra towel pack or something.

Thanks again for all the fast responses! :)

You're welcome!!! I always read those "tips" threads and feel bad because I never have anything to offer. Then, one day it hit me that using those turbans was a tip!!! And not many people seem to think of it, either. They take up next to no space in a suitcase, and we hang them on the doorknobs before we go out. They are really great!!! We use them at home now, too - unless someone has taken it to her room and dropped it on the floor and buried it under a mound of other clothes. If I can't find one in the laundry room, I know I have to go unearth one from the teen bedroom!!!

It is amazing what you can get for a few dollars tip and and a very polite "is there any way I can get a few more towels, coffee, etc" when you see a Mousekeeper in the AM ;)

We recently stayed in a studio for several days and never had to reuse a towel once.

Grant it we had to keep our own room clean the whole time and take out or own trash which we do no matter where we are staying (we are clean freaks) but to each the MK service for $25 a day isn't worth it.

You'll get one round bar of hand soap, one small bottle of shower gel, one small bottle of shampoo and one small bottle of conditioner. These new H2O toiletries are a bit too fragrant for me - too floral.

You can also request and pay for T&T each day if you choose to. I think it is $10, and with a very full studio room, it might be a nice idea. That way you will get fresh towels each day and new toiletries as well.
