trash and towel? Sorry, know it's been asked before...

Hi all,

I know this has been asked, but I can't find it. What exactly is included in trash and towel? Do they change the sheets too, or do any cleaning? Or would it then be called "trash and towel and sheets, and some light cleaning"?

I personally don't worry about it too much, but I set a friend up with a studio and I'd like to make sure that she understands exactly what will happen so we don't have any misunderstandings.

They'll empty the trash, bring new towels and refill a few consumables like laundry detergent and bar soap. That's about it.

It used to be called "trash & tidy", but that name gave the impression that housekeeping would actually do a bit of cleaning in the room, which is not the case.

The consumables that are replenished also include toilet paper, facial tissues, dishwasher soap,and the coffee starter pack.

You probably already know this, but she can get full housekeeping if she wants (I think $25 per day for a studio), and she can also get "towel packs" for about $6.

If we are renting a studio for 7 nights, can we request full mousekeeping service on certain days? We're checking into OKW Sat., Dec. 10, and checking out Sat., Dec. 17., and were thinking of requesting full service on Mon. and Thurs. or Fri.. If we do this will we still get the trash and towel service on the 4th day? Will the 4th day be Wednesday?

Keith- the 4th day will be the 13th (tuesday I think), and unless you request a full service cleaning that day you still should get the T&T service. Yes, you can request specific days for full service cleanings.
