Trash and Towel service

When does this take place during your stay? I thought I remember reading someplace (now I can't find) that it takes place on your 4th day?? So, if we check in on Friday would we get it on Monday? Also, do they do any cleaning or is it trash and towel only? My husband always takes care of the trash and I always wash our towels so do I even need this? If they clean up a little, that's a different story !!

It was the fourth day of our trip and they took whatever trash we had. I think they tidied up the counter area where the coffee maker was and left towels but nothing major. We actually liked not having our stuff moved around and not having to pick up a little before we left each morning. I never thought I would say that!

There is no cleaning provided on Trash & Towel Day, only trash removed & liners replaced, used towels removed & replaced with fresh, soap/shampoo/paper products/coffe & related items replenished. It is on day 4 of your stay counting check-in day as first day unless you are staying 8 nights or longer & if so you will receive full housekeeping on day 4 and T&T on day 8.

Nice - so we are staying 9 nights/10days checking in on Friday. That would mean full housekeeping on Monday and T&T on Friday (we check out on Sunday). Can you request full housekeeping for a different day? I think day 4 is too soon considering we won't check out untill Sunday. Also, do you tip on the full housekeeping day?

Tipping is completely at your discretion. I do leave a tip, but officially at Disney it is considered a non-tipped position.

Call the housekeeping manager when you check-in, and they will often let you re-arrange your scheduled days, but it doesn't always work out.

I have my confirmation and I don't see anything regarding this on there.

I guess I'll have to call because it only lists the points and the next line says, "For additional points information, please contact Member Services." That's it. I'm sure it's no biggie - I won't stress over it.

Just checked my five night stay and it is not on there......so on day four we will receive trash and towel right?

Yes, with check in day as day one. You are there for six days if you have a five night stay.
