Trash and towel service?

Just a quick question about the trash and towel service. I understand that it is on day 4 of your stay. We are only there for 5 days. What happens if you end up with bags of garbage if you decide to use disposable plates, cups ect. Do I need to bring extra garbage bags to hold my garbage? Will mousekeeping take bags if I asked for it to be picked up? We are staying in a studio and I don't know if there will be room to hold all the disposables/other garbage we seem to accumulate at Disney. Does anyone recommend I bring my own pool towels?
 
For a short stay, trash and towel service is performed on the fourth DAY of your stay. That includes the day that you arrive. If you arrive on Sunday, T&T service is Wednesday. If you want that day switched, just ask at the front desk.

All they will do is empty your trash, replace the towels and some consumables (toiletries, trash bags, etc.)

If your trash is full before the T&T day there should be a trash room nearby where you can deposit the refuse. Guests are expected to do that themselves. Call housekeeping from your phone or ask a housekeeper in the halls if you need to find the closest location from your room. Extra unused trash bags should be in the bottom of the can or under the sink.

Towels are available at the resort pools. We don't bother bringing our own. The towels aren't great but they get the job done.
 
We recently stayed 8 nights at AKL Kidani. We were under the impression that we had T & T on day 4, but the front desk informed me (because I inquired) that for stays longer than 6 nights, they do a total clean on day 4 and T&T on day 7. The manager told me they do this so the rooms are not trashed by day 7. Makes alot of sense, I just wish they informed me at check in. I now will ask upon check in what the schedule will be.

That is the DVC rule for stays 8 nights or more. It should have shown on your reservation confirmation.

Full Cleaning Service
For stays of eight or more nights, Full-Cleaning Service is provided on day four and Trash & Towel Service is provided on day eight. After that, the cycle begins again on day 12, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both. With Full-Cleaning service, Housekeeping will provide everything included with the Trash & Towel Service, plus:

•Change the bed linens.
•Vacuum and dust the Vacation Home.
•Clean the bathroom(s).
•Clean the kitchen/kitchenette and wash the dishes.
 
Good to know that I can take the garbage and recyclables somewhere specific rather than having to locate Mousekeeping. Do the quiet pools have towels available or just the main pool. We want to be as far away from the main pool and HH as possible. Looking to relax this vacation.
