Transportation ?

Our flight from MCO (Delta) does not leave until 9:00pm on debarkation day. We would like to rent a convertable to go to a few other places, how can we get our luggage to the airport from the port and can we check in at the port with the Delta people?

call disney and see if you can pay for the mears transportation bus to the airport for your luggage.

Delta skymiles members can go online and check-in and print your boarding pass. You have to be registered on line with a password but you could do tht before you leave and then chek-in the last night of your cruise.
Also, I think Delta has a luggage check-in at the port. I have not experieced this but I read it on the boards and I think I read it in my documents.

On our first cruise (09/00) we checked our bags with Northwes at the port and did our own transportation to the airport, no problem. That being said, I don't think you can do that anymore. There was a thread a while back from on eof the porters at the terminal that there is a charge if you do not have Disney transportation. I also thought that there was a time frame on how early someone could check in for a flight.

Would be nice if I was wrong - we have a 7:30PM flight coming home and I would love to checkin at the port.
