****** Transportation-where are you?

We have used ****** 5 times in the last 3.5 years and have had fantastic service. I just realized I hadn't booked them for our upcoming trip and the website is gone, 1-800 number is disconnected, and email is undeliverable. Bummer, we always loved having Bob waiting for us. Anyone have a great towncar rec? We need one for this trip just to Disney and then in March for Disney and a cruise.

To begin with, this company has been banned from discussion here on the DIS boards. Having said that, I will tell you that they are no longer in business!
You could try FL Tours, a board sponsor. I used them last spring and had a wonderful experience. Kenny was our driver..wonderful.

Tiffany and Murray Hill Transposition also get good reviews.
Surprised a company closing shop wasn't able to make a few dollars selling. You'd think a competitor would pay something just to have calls to the 800 number forwarded and the website redirected.

Why would a compnay be banned from being discussed, but other companies are allowed to be discussed. Just curious. Is it because they were not a board sponsor?

And if a company that Disboard members have used is no longer in business, why not leave the name so others can see and not waste their time trying to contact the company? Isn't this site/forum supposed to be a resource?

Nothing to do with board sponsorship. The two companies I named aren't board sponsors and their names weren't replaced with ****.

Companies are banned for egregious conduct.

The banned companies were not banned for providing bad service or because they weren't a board sponsor. They have been banned for extremely bad behaviour and continued guideline abuse. It takes a fair amount to get banned from discussion here. I can't go into particulars here, but the most recent banning was incredibly well deserved!!

If you type in a name/word and you get ****** when you look at your post? That means the name/word is in violation of board guidelines.
So, there you have it. We are free to mention any transportation company here. I have, in fact, given very negative reports of the board sponsor. But I used them again last spring, in the name of research, and was provided with very good service. Now, I feel comfortable recommending them. I also recommend Tiffany Towncar..have had very good service from them as well.

You've already been given 3 options. The airport's website has pages of companies permitted. Mears offers towncar service. I think it's more expensive then others. I don't think they offer a complimentary grocery stop.

We're not suppose to even discuss why a company got banned. I'll offer a link if you want more information.
