Hi there  I'm hoping someone can help me with this one. I have purchased the Richard Petty Rookie Experience for my DH as a Christmas gift. We will be in WDW in March and staying at Fort Wilderness in our motorhome.

As I understand it, to get to WDW Speedway, we have to take a bus from the Fort to DTD and then catch a bus back to the Speedway. Is this correct? And, are there any other alternatives? I don't mind paying if there is a taxi/ car service. He has to be there pretty early. Getting on a bus and driving right past the Speedway to get to DTD and then going back seems a little like going around your elbow to get to .......... Well, you know what I mean.

TIA

Not 100% sure but I thought you had to bus to the TTC and then a shuttle bus took you across to the speedway.

If you go to the TTC in front of the kennels there is a Richard Petty shuttle that will take you over to the racetrack.

TTC is the Transportation and Ticket Center at the Magic Kingdom. You can take the boat from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom, then take the monorail to the TTC.

ahhhh, gotcha so, the boat to MK, the monorail to TTC, then a bus to the Speedway will be faster than a bus to DTD, then a bus to the Speedway?

The Speedway track is right before the MK Parking Lot. You could even walk over there from TTC.

you might be able to get a bus from Fort Wilderness to the TTC , they are doing bus station repairs and some of the buses are running to the TTC.
